Research And Design On Grouping Network Users Based On 802.1X

Today, the network plays a very important role in people's daily life. At the same time, the number of people who use the network has greatly grew in the past few years, many enterprises becoming increasingly dependent on networks. With the increase of the number of Internet users, distinction of the access of different users to network resources has become a huge problem that the entire industry faces.This thesis is under such background that we present the topic of our work.802.1X system is a representative network authentication system, this system only make a rough distinction, but no control of the Internet users who has passed the authentication. In the daily management of the network, access control is the most common and most important component of the network, it is also a very important way against the attacks. According to this deficiency, this thesis combines the process of authentication with VlanID distribution ,make sure that each VlanID is associated with a user group, so the goal of account grouping is achieved.The thesis first analyzes the network resource access control technology status, and then in-depth discussion of the current feasible method of access control network resources are made, at last based on the final conclusions of the analysis, account grouping network users Solutions (AGS) can be achieved on the basis of the network user authentication, meanwhile a testing of the feasibility of the program is carried out.At the very end, this thesis analyses this project in systemic view, proposes some work in the future.
