| Nowadays, as the means of transportation on the sea is improving gradually, a lot of information systems that have the function of collision avoidance, scan, patrol and surveillance have been used abroad. This makes the traffic on the sea more safe and administrable. But the information between them can't be shared effectively. Another problem is that the design principle of these systems is different and some functions of equipments are overlapped. Then they work singly and the data collected by them can't be used effectively. These go against to the contrasting and using of the data for the manager. In order to satisfy the growing demand to transportation on the sea of economy development, we need to reinforce the management of traffic on the sea, advance the service ability and manage level. Based on these things, we present the notion of "Integrated Maritime Digital Information System"(IMDIS)First, this paper expatiates the meaning and necessary of doing the research on IMDIS; then, by the research in this paper, we get productions as follows:1. It designs the function of IMDIS after doing some investigation about vessel traffic management in our country, then it compares the functions between VTS and IMDIS, and proves the feasibility of using equipment in existence.2. It enumerates the key technology we will meet when we construct the IMDIS and give some resolvent of the problem on data exchange between several systems.3. This paper brings forward a new method to achieve the connect with VTS adjacent. That is using AIS to connect with and transmit data to VTS adjacent. This paper does some research on the data format this method use.4. By doing some analysis on maritime accident in this paper, we get the point that it is very necessary to make traffic management intelligentized. This paper presents a intelligent function "classificatory alert" and does some research on it. |
