The Study Of Secure SOA Based On Biztalk 2006 And WSE 3.0

The Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) is the brand new method of designing system architecture, which modularizes the application's business logic or functions, and then provide them to the consumers as services. Because of the good connections between services by using interfaces and contracts, the system is more flexible and loosely coupled. SOA is becoming the trend of constructing enterprise software architecture. At present, many ways are provided for constructing SOA resolutions based on different platforms and tools. However, by lacking of a set of mature standard for guidance, SOA is still at the exploring stage and security is the most difficult point to be handled in quality control. Web Service can easily cross platforms, describe and discover services, in addition, being one of the best resolutions for SOA, it can combine with relative standard for security and reliability purpose. Biztalk provided by Microsoft, based on XML, is the product for integrating enterprise applications. It has become the natural tool for constructing SOA by web services.Based on the above technologies and combining the status of SOA present development, this article discusses how Biztalk shows SOA in its special way and the resolutions that WSE provides for web service security. Especially, it researches how to combine the comprehensive server, namely Biztalk Server 2006, and the product of WSE 3.0 on .NET platform to fulfill SOA.It contains methods of using Biztalk to deliver the secure SOAP message in SOA, publishing the Biztalk Orchestrations to web services securely and also using the secure web services in it. By Microsoft getting more users on its Operation System and providing more powerful .NET platform, the combination of Biztalk and WSE may become the best resolution for constructing SOA.
