Along with the rapid growth of users and network multimedia activity, the complex structure of access terminal network has become a bottleneck to stop the new business. The major special topic of The Tenth Five-Year national "863" plan "Research on System Performance and Key Technologies of large-scale access convergence router (hereafter referred to ACR)" the key research of which is to build a access network that is manageable, controllable and operational, and to provide user terminals with high-speed, stability, security, and reliability services.10G uplink bridge card is the convergence module in ACR. The word convergence has two implications: convergence of data stream flows and convergence of service flows. The so-called convergence of data flows refers to attract a large number of Access users (960) to form the rapid flow of high-speed data transmission. Convergence of service flows refers to the management and multicast replication of the large number access users to the IPTV service.This dissertation mainly researched on the difficult problems of the two typies of convergence: SPI-4.2 high-speed interface, IPTV multicast, then gave the corresponding solutions by the research. Finally we implemented the entire bridge card. The main task of this dissertation is listed as bellow:In allusion to the demand for the high-speed interface by bridge card, which is caused by the convergence of data streams, the SPI-4.2 high-speed interface scheme was proposed. By the research on the causes and influences of the skew of high-speed interface, a static, dynamic phase adjustment combined method to deskew was pointed out as to the high-speed interface SPI-4.2, and the deskew module of SPI-4.2 was designed. The data reorganization in the SPI-4.2 high-speed interface was analysed, the design idea that first databursts reorganization then packets reorganization was proposed, and under the guidance of the ideas of the SPI-4.2 packets reorganization module was designed. Finally, this dissertation gave the implementation of the SPI-4.2 high-speed interface, and completed the test for the high-speed interface, and the experiment results indicate that SPI-4.2 high-speed interface meet the demands of ACR.As to the 10G bridge card's demand for the implementation of IPTV multicast technology caused by the convergence of service flows, the implementation of 10G uplink bridge card's IPTV multicast program was proposed. The table structure of IPTV multicast table was researched, the influence on the performance of multicast replication by different table structures was analysed, and a table structure suitable for IPTV multicast table was designed. The lookup conflict in up and down direction was analysed, and a vice Lookup table was established to resolve the conflict. At last the dissertation gave a design of the 10G uplink bridge card Lookups, and the simulation tests verified the feasibility of the program.According to the 10G uplink bridge card function, performance requirements from Specification of ACR, the dissertation designed the hardware implementation plan of 10G uplink bridge card, analyzed the functions of each hardware module and proposed the design. At the end of this dissertation, debugging steps and methods of the bridge cards was brought up, and the bridge card's performance was tested.
