With increasing of high-qualified grain's requirement on the market and spreading of grain growth's area, it's imperative to develop high-efficient harvesting machinery which is suitable for grain reaping, threshing separating and cleaning. And, the grain cleaning mechanism, which is a very important part of the combine harvester, directly influences the working performance of the machine. At present, almost all the improvement of grain cleaning mechanism is only cursorily changing the structure of machine, and the extended study for the airflow parameters and working parameters during the cleaning process, is limited. Therefore, it is very significant to deeply research the grain cleaning mechanism.The research and development situation of cleaning mechanism at home and abroad is mainly introduced in this paper. By the analysis and research of working principle, grain's movement state and virtual simulation technology, the movements of the cleaning sieve and thresh materials were simulated and analyzed.By meeting the special working circumstance of the cleaning sieve, the Rocker-swing pole organization and Winch-rocker pole organization were chosen for simulation and analysis. And with the analysis of the cleaning sieve's structure, the virtual prototype technology and the software of Pro/Engineer and ADAMS, the movement model of cleaning mechanism was built. And based on this model, the movement state of the cleaning sieve was studied during the process of grain cleaning, and movement rule of the acceleration of every point in the sieve was analyzed.After analyzing the movement as well as the movement differential equations of threshes materials in the airflow, the movement model was built, and by the software of ADAMS, the airflow parameter's influence on the state of the thresh materials was studied, and based on the simulated results, the airflow parameters were chosen scientifically. Meanwhile, after the movement rule of the thresh materials on the sieve is analyzed, the formulas which meet all the movement circumstance were built, and the movement models of the thresh materials were built, and the movement state of the thresh materials which is influenced by both the airflow and the sieve, was simulated and analyzed.A parameter modeling approach to the cleaning sieve is put forward based on ADAMS. The movement model of Rocker-swing pole organization cleaning sieve was built, and the dynamic simulation and analysis was studied, and the sensitivity of the organization due to the change of every parameter of the structure, and the structure parameters and the movement parameters which have great influence on the acceleration of the cleaning sieve were chosen, and then the design variables were confirmed for the optimization of the organization parameters. In addition, the test design and the optimized design of the cleaning sieve were carried out, and the best working parameters which adapted to the sieve were chosen, and all these are the theoretical foundation for the optimization of the cleaning sieve.Based on the research of the characteristics of the cleaning sieve and the thresh materials in this paper, the advanced simulated software is used for the simulation and the virtual test during the process of the cleaning, and all these tasks have some influence on the research and development of the grain cleaning mechanism.
