Application Of Data Mining Technology In The Hospital Information System

With the development of HIS and the progress of its application in our country, more and more data are produced, Hospital administrative levels thirst for higher data analysis functions so as to assist their decision. In the data mining research field, their objective is to find a few potential rules or implied information from mass data. This is just data mining. With the development of data mining, the technique becomes more and more mature. At the same time, its applications are widely used. However, data mining technology is still poorly in the present HIS. Actually, the research result of data mining is available for HIS, and its value is also proved in HIS. The composition of the HIS and data mining can make the HIS to be more effective. Furthermore, It brings forth the new task for the research in data mining, and makes a broader prospect for the developing of data mining's application.The dissertation focuses on the application of data mining in HIS , which apply the theory into the concrete HIS. it has come into the combination of the HIS and data mining. In the paper, the elementary conditions and the current situation of the HIS reaching have been set forth in details. The algorithm of analysis K-means is also emphasized and the definition method of related initial kind of central point under this algorithm, which can bring the new viewpoint, have been brought forward in this paper. The improved K-means algorithm will be applied in the medical expense management. Finally the data results should be analysized and summarized.
