By placing the microcontrollers into the traditional instruments, Fieldbustechnology enables those measuring and controlling instruments to get the abilityof digital calculation and communication and become the network nodes which canindependently accomplish the functions of detecting, controlling andcommunicating. CAN-bus, as a kind of fieldbus, has remarkable advantages suchas simple structure, fine real-time quality, high reliability, powerfulanti-interference ability, low cost and strong flexibility. CAN-bus is the onlyfield bus with international standard at present. Along with the development ofindustry control and field bus technology, more and more field measuringinstruments and the controlling nodes support the CAN bus protocol and can carryout the data transmission and the Communication according to the CAN highercommunication protocol. As one standard of the CAN higher communication protocols,DeviceNet becomes more and more popular in modern industry applications.The thesis analyzes and studies the DeviceNet technology. We adoptmicrocontroller MC9S12DJ128 with CAN module made by Freescale as the coreprocessor. With the PCI-bus CAN communication card, we make the pilot study ofthe CAN-bus computer monitoring system based on DeviceNet protocol. Computer,intelligent control node based on CAN bus and field instruments constitute thewhole system and accomplish the network communication according to the DeviceNetprotocol. The paper consists of five parts:The first chapter is the introduction. This paper discusses the meaning ofthe subject, the relevant research on current situations and our research scheme.Besides, the relevant documents and materials are summarized in this part.The second chapter details the structure and characteristics of CAN-bus andDeviceNet protocol. The development trend of DeviceNet is discussed on the aspectof its application.The third chapter is the emphasis of the thesis. It details the hardware and software design of the whole system. It mainly includes the hardware and softwaredesign of temperature measuring module, alarming module, display module,power-supply module and CAN communication interface module and so on.The fourth part introduces the anti-jamming measures from both hardware andsoftware aspects.The last chapter narrates several main conclusions and experience derivedfrom research and looks forward to the research work for the future.At the same time, the result of this item sets up hardware and softwareplatform for the study of embedded system's CAN communication.
