Temperature is one of the main controlled parameters in the automatic control. In many cases involved with monitoring and analyzing of temperature, the temperature acquisiting means with high level of accuracy and automation is need. To meet this demand, in this paper, the low cost, highly dependent and high speed temperature acquisition system on USB interface was designed, and the data collected by temperature sensor were amplified and conveyed, and then through USB interface, they were transmitted to host system to make applied programms gain data through driver device and the data were used according to the needs.The paper investigate the design, developing methods, developing procedure and realization of temperature acquisition system on USB interface by making use of AT89C52 and PDIUSBD12, incluing the key technology of hardware design, firmwared design, driver and application design in temperature acquisition system on USB Interface.In hardware design, the selection of USB controller and the concrete hardware design are introduced and circuit diagram is proposed. In firmware design, the paper first shows the idea of program design and the hierarchy and then introduces the program design in detail and analyzes some important structure, flow chart, and some questions to worth noticing during the program. In driver program design, the principle of choosing driver develop of tools is discussed, the structure and the realization of various functional module. In the application program design, the paper analyse the flow chart of software programing and the method of driver program communication.The paper has accomplished the design of remperature acquisition system based on USB interface and realized the basic temperature data collection, through and application. Through this study, we can have a better understanding of transmission the focal points of USB technology, accumulate the USB equipment developing experience, and establish foundation for developing more advanced application equipment.
