Because functions of the software engineering process to the development of software project becomes more and more important, people pay more and more attention to the study of software process. The methods of traditional software engineering process take the realization of the project as its main goal, and often decompose the software project into a group of quantificational duties. However, a notable feature is that the software project is changing with the development time. Thus the problem of unstable estimate of the project will appear, particularly for the factors of personnel in the development of project. Traditional methods are more difficult to control this situation. As a result, a new perspective, the application of System Dynamics to study the methods of software engineering process emerged. This paper introduces the basic concepts and basic steps of the system dynamics and immune genetic algorithm . Analysis of the inadequate parts of traditional software engineering process is given. System dynamics was applied to the software engineering process model. The two most important parts, staffing and project plan was simulated and parameters were obtained. Then the simulation model of software engineering process based on system dynamics was got and the effectiveness of software engineering process simulation was proved by certain cases. Then based on the system dynamics simulation of genetic algorithms, adding an immune factor, we improved the system simulation methods based on genetic algorithm, and designed the genetic algorithm based on the immune system simulation algorithm. The algorithm can increase the system's ability to optimize the data model and simulation capability.
