Research On Home Network And Its Key Technologies

Since the 20th century 60's, the digital technology rapid development, the multitudinous digital product gradually has entered in the ordinary life. At the same time, the wideband communication and the Internet popularization enormously promoted the digital media content development. In the modern society, people not merely require higher and higher to house automation and information-based intensity, and the conveniences of flexibility controlled to the home equipment and foreign department information acquisition have put forward higher requirement. Only by setting up and counting the digital family's network can it really meet the requirements of the home automation and informationization.Family network takes the public network function and the application into the family through the family gateway. Using the nimble family intelligence wiring system or wireless networking technologies, family network can interconnect each kind of information terminal, and integrates the voice, the data, multimedia, control and management, and realize the information full circulation and sharing not only among the family interior terminals but also between the family interior terminals and the exterior public network.This thesis first analyzes present situation on family network development, and pointes out related problems. Then introduces three kinds of family network technology. To analysis he domestic electric appliances' information characteristic and classify these information into three categories, the thesis induces the family network's three subnets, namely electrical appliances control network, family data communication network and family A/V network. This thesis proposes the system structure of family's network, and designs the family gateway in detail, then analysis the family gateway main functions and introduces the electrical appliances control network and the electrical appliances control service system. Based on the reduction for the Linux operating system, the thesis proposes and realizes a family gateway. Afterwards electricity control network application proposal and the transmission proposal are introduced. Finally, this thesis discusses the family network security problem, and pointes out the challenges that the family network security faces, then made the brief introduction to the network level encryption technology.The digital family's networking scheme that proposed in this thesis offers a unified platform for family electric equipment. Through this platform, we can realize interconnection and information sharing between the electric apparatuses of the family, and realize the automatic and long-distance control of the family, freely access to Internet, etc...
