The Analysis And Design Of Personal Time Management System For Trans-regional/Transnational Enterprise

An effective personal time management system(PTMS) is very important toglobal enterprises that are doing their business trans-regionally or transnationallyto complete their managements and production activities. The major goal of sucha PTMS is to realize effective time management for all employees' personnel shift,leaving, and attendance. It also provides various report forms about employees'time data to company leaders. In addition, the PTMS must be able to ease themaintenance efforts at all enterprise facilities locating at different sites.This thesis discusses and implements a personal time management systemwith a three-tier framework. The PTMS makes use of Microsoft .NET frameworkas its development platform, depends on ASP.NET technology, uses C#programming language, and utilizes Microsoft SQL Server2000 databasemanagement system. The PTMS adopts a design pattern called Inversion ofControl or Dependence Injection, so that the personal time management systemcan be used in different sites of a global enterprise around the world to satisfyvarious language and other requirements posed at different running sites.
