Remote watch system is often used in production and life field. For watching the environment parameters of animals lab, storeroom and so on, it is necessary to construct a long-distance information transmission system, it can transmit the gathering data to the watch room. In the paper, it uses the Power Line Communication(PLC) to realize long-distance transmission of the environment parameters of animal lab.Using the existent power line of the animal lab and watch room, a long-distance information system for transmitting environment parameters of animals lab based on power line communication is designed and developed in this thesis. The system adopts distributed structure. It is composed by the lower position scheme, the medial position scheme and the upper position scheme. The lower position scheme to fulfill gathering environment parameters is in the laboratory. and the medial position scheme to execute transmitting is also in the laboratory, it is connected with the lower position scheme by RS-485 communication port which can spread according to the need ,and it transmit the data to the upper position scheme by PLC. the upper position scheme to perform long-range watch is in the watch room, applying the MCU and spread spectrum transmission technology, it achieved teletransmission with the medial position schemes based on the power line communication. The circuit of each part and key program are described, and a real system is achieved.
