Natural gas adsorption is a kind of advanced technology of natural gas storage. One of the factors which are the main restraining of the development of adsorbed natural gas(ANG) storage is the effects of adsorption heat. The control system of natural gas adsorption is mainly designed to control the temperature of the adsorption cylinder, in order to deal with the effects of absorption heat.Firstly, this thesis starts with analyzing the structure of the adsorption system, combined with the hardware system of other control systems of temperature. The thesis has designed the simple hardware structure of the control system on the basis of this. Utilize regulate valve through regulating the flow of natural gas into adsorption cylinder for regulating the temperature of adsorption cylinder. Thus make temperature keep invariable.This thesis studied on the effects of absorption heat on the ANG performance during charge and discharge. Then the dynamic mathematics model of the adsorption system was established by the mechanism modeling method. The parameters were confirmed by the experimental data and hypothesis.Because of the variety with time of the adsorption system, strict controlling accuracy cannot be satisfied by the traditional PID. So this thesis adopts PID of setting parameters in phase. The parameters of PID change according to state.This thesis uses MATLAB to carry on simulation to PID controller of each phase. Through analyzing the simulation curve, can the control system get good result in each phase and possess the features of smaller overshoot, shorter adjusting time.
