During the development of Computer network, the Security of Information System is more and more important; the LAN security is an important part of Information System Security. It indicates that the 70% network attacks is from local users of LAN according to the stat. report, how to Monitor local users of LAN becomes an import challenge of LAN Security. The LAN Monitoring System is to manage and control all the workstation of LAN, strictly controlled local users' operation, vindicated the security of LAN.The LAN Monitoring System adopts C/S (Client/Server) architecture which consists of "Manage.exe" and "Agent.exe", "Manage.exe" is installed in computer which to be managed, and "Angent.exe" is installed in local user's computers in LAN. The Manager of Management Center uses Manger.exe to configure and manage the workstation of LAN, the Agent.exe of workstation can invoke "Process-Control", "Memory-manager", "Disk-Mange", "System-Mange" operation to workstation though security management policy.The LAN Monitoring System must make an important effect on LAN Security.
