LCS's Accomplishment And Application Based On PHS

LCS-LoCation Services is a kind of value-added services that under the supportof Geographic Information Systems and through wireless network acquiring theTerminal-user's location information for the mobile users. As the development ofmobile telecommunication business and the popularity of the mobile phone, theapplication of LCS now has a mature market environment. Two difficulties should besolved in order to build up a software platform for LCS, one is the complicatedprocess which refers to a lot of sub-systems and the rapid requirement, the other isthat LCS should be under the cooperation between Telecommunication Enterpriseand Service Provider (SP), the access of LCS'platform must be open and standard toensure that users can join it easily.This text researches the LCS platform of PHS and sets an emphasize on its keytechnologies and fulfillment of services which have been used and will be used.In this paper the author has designed and fulfilled the PHS's LCS. First theauthor reviewed the PHS network and its structure and the type of LCS and thenspecified the technology of PHS's LCS and its application and the design of LCS'splatform, after that the author summarized the feature and the formation ofcomponent GIS and researched the redevelopment of GIS while using MapX, themost important part of this paper is the design and the accomplishment of PHSnetwork's LCS. In system design, we will describe the systemic-functional logic,make a full explanation and design on the access of important components. In therealization of the system, we achieved the exploitation and application of the systemiccomponents.The paper is based on the PHS of××city's CNC, according to the check ofSMS, Call center and Web to fulfill the investigation of special groups and to getinformation virtually.
