This paper designs a kind of fiber grating external cavitysemiconductor laser aim at the domestic or overseas need on syntonic fiberpeg-top and it has been validated in the lab.The dissertation counts fiber grating length and coupling efficiencyaccording to output range of laser, and makes a project about develop theequipment and particular project of fiber grating external cabitysemiconductor laser, then tests it. The project solves the problem over thewavelength tune and AC modulate of fiber grating external cavitysemiconductor laser, satisfies searching wavelength signal, and frequency isstabilizated.The parameters rooted from the theory and a lot of experiments are: thefrequency of laser is 200KHz, the length of fiber grating is 1cm, the lengthof external cavity is 1Km, the coupling efficiency is 50%, the length hasbeen stabilizated is 1530.37nm, the output power is 1mW.
