PPM Modulating Of Space Optical Communication

High code rate modulation is one of the key technologies torealize free-space optical communication system. The free-space opticalcommunication system want to realize high power and wide spacetransmitting range. So the transmitter laser need to realize super-highvelocity modulation. PPM is wildly used in free-space opticalcommunication system because of the merit such as high power use factor,high transmission efficiency and strong antijamming ability.The thesis researched some modulation principles of free-space opticalcommunication system, and made a performance comparison firstly, thengave a detailed theoretical analysis about PPM signal. Base on these, thethesis gave the system of PPM and made a simulated use experiment. Theresult of simulation experiment indicated the PPM modulation tit for thedemand of free-space optical communication system.
