| With the continual increase of the funded projects, the scientific research has obtainedlarge amounts of productions. Consequently, the management of productions has been paidmore attention, where the realization of knowledge share is one of the important purposes.The sharing knowledge objects include not only the knowledge contained in the productions,but also the tacit knowledge owned by the experts. The purpose of this thesis is to organizesuch knowledge and build navigation system which can guide the users to find the desiredknowledge quickly, and thus motivate the knowledge share and increase the knowledge value.Knowledge Atlas, the aggregation of the correlative knowledge maps, is built on thebasis of K-maps which can realize the knowledge organization and navigation. Moreover, itcreates a wider web of connections through bringing together different kinds of K-maps. Wecan choose any K-map of Knowledge Atlas as the entrance to find all the available knowledgeby the mutual use of K-maps and thus implement the free navigation of all types of resources.Key work of this thesis can be summarized in the following three parts.(1) Based on the theory of K-map, this thesis explains the meanings and functions ofknowledge Atlas and analyzes the feasibility of building Knowledge Atlas in the managementof productions. Besides, it originally presents the construction flow of Knowledge Atlas.(2) Creating process of Production K-map is analyzed and summarized into three parts:document representation, document clustering and knowledge index. VSM is employed forrepresenting the documents, fast algorithm for detecting community structure in networks isused to group the documents and cosine distance is used for measuring document similarities.(3) Creating process of Expert K-map is originally proposed in the background ofproduction management. Expert K-map indirectly realizes the navigation of tacit knowledgethrough navigating the experts. Its creating process includes expert grouping, expert rankingand expert relations. The corresponding thoughts and approaches are presented in every step.In the end, this thesis builds the prototype system of Knowledge Atlas based on the dataprovided by NSFC. It contains a 4-layer Production K-map and a corresponding ExpertK-map. The mutual navigation of productions and experts is finally carried out. |
