Design And Realization Of On-line Registration System Based On Servlet

Along with the education reform, the test works needs reform. The introduction of modern educational technique methods is the urgent question which the university teaching management awaits to be solved. In other words, the opportunities and the challenges coexist.The present paper is on the project of on-line registration system for the adult undergraduate degree foreign language test. The project is developed by the Heilongjiang university network management center for the Heilongjiang education department degree committee office. The on-line registration system in the present paper is a bridge between examinees and education departments, is a test manage combination of on-line information collecting, test management, database operation, downloading and uploading of data, test certificate arrangement, and test certificate downloading.The system uses the B/S pattern, applies JSP/Java Servlet technology, uses java JDBC in database connection, and enhances the efficiency of the Servlet visiting database through the connection pond. The present paper introduces the system demand analysis, the principles of design, the development pattern and the system platform, introduces the system database structure and the visit principle in detail, introduces the structure and the process of the functional modules, such as the on-line registration module, the landing module, the examinee module, the responsible department manage module, the on-the-spot registration manage module and the administrator module, etc.The present paper gives a minute description on the system user authentication function, the database connection pond, the user role, the database security policy, and how to prevent and handle the faults in the system development and processing. The present paper also introduces the improvement of a mapping stochastic algorithm to reduce the system execute time and enhance the system efficiency.Using these technologies and methods, the system security is improved, and the system complicated process with massive users request is enhanced.
