The Software Radio technology and the Digital Trunking communications isjust two kind of technologies, which have the brightest future, and developrapidly in the field of communications. The digital trunking correspondenceis the main body of special wireless communications system,nowadays. Itassigns the dynamic channel to multiuser sharing. And the full use limitedwireless channel resources becomes the most important design thought.Contraposing the key technologies of Software Radio, the paper dissertatesthe basic theories of Software Radio and the applications in signal sample,then analyses the mathematics model, development actuality and the attainabletargets of software radio engineering. Through the analysis of our countrypresent trunking communications system technical standard, the penmanproduce one kind of realizable trunking system design plan based on thoughtof software radio.the penman try to use the features of open, and interoperability in softwareradio technology to structure one kind of basic digital trunking systemhardware platform, which could span the frequency band of 350MHz, 450MHz and800MHz. In this system mobile cell antenna could be used assembled multi-bandantenna,which can cover 350~450MHz 800MHz. As working band is between350~800MHz, the sampling rate and bit of current A/D and D/A converter is inthe rang of normal state. Then the programmable chip will complete the DDC. Asfar as possible, The system will use software to achieve wirelesscommunications functions, and enhance interoperability andflexibility. through software the problem of frequency-band in currenttrunking system such as fragmentation, low use of channel, according to thedevelopment of software radio, the system can utterly achieve.
