Synthetic jet congtrol is a new folw control technology advanced latest years around the world. It can improve the maneuverability of aerocraft through stady separation; strengthen or weaken mixture, build"dummy"shape and decrease resistance. This paper regard piezoelectric synthetic jet actuator (SJA) as the study object and to heighten the actuate ability of the oscillation membrane.Based on the summarization of the research actuality and development trend of the SJA, study and compare the character of the Cymbal composite structure with plane structure through frequency character and force&electric coupling character with finite element simulation method. The research indicates that the actuate ability of Cymbal composite structure is obviousely better than plane structure. Define three demissionless structure parameters of Cymbal composite structure and optimize the Cymbal composite structure with the best structure distortion as the object. And trough optimization an optimal structure is obtained. Make different kinds of demension experiment object of Cymbal conposite structure and plane structure, validity the distortion actuation character and structure optimal results of Cymbal composite structure.At last the double Cymbal piston structure is also researched in this paper. The character of the double Cymbal piston structure is sdudyed in the paper and it establishes a basement for SJA futher study.
