Based on research and development of Integrated Electronic Commerce Software GECIS, this paper focuses on the Petri Net oriented research of scheduling model of electronic transportation and its validity by combining object oriented database technology and software modeling method. This paper concentrates on the Object-Oriented Method, Database and Data Warehouse Analysis Method, Schedule Algorithms(A*, Clustering, Best-fit), Arc-Constant Petri Net, Colored Petri Net and UML/OOPN modeling method with their integrating use in the research of scheduling model in Electronic Transportation. First, the UML modeling requirements are analyzed and discussed. Then, choices of different scheduling methods are made. In the phase of domain analysis, models of descpription of data cases in the Electronic Transportation Scheduling System are rendered, decision-making methods by data warehouse are also rendered with examples of database tables and data warehouse dimension-tables. In the phase of domain design, the Petri Net-oriented method is used to create the arc-constant net models and colored net models with a combining system model based on UML/OOPN modeling method. All of the models are validated in this section. At the end of the paper, some pseudocode of typical schedule algorithms are described and a small real case of temporary schedule is simulated to prove the effectiveness of the models. After presenting the overall analysis and provement, a summary of Petri Net modeling, schedule modeling and so on are put forward with their effects, another summary of the application value of this research is also brought forward at the end of the paper.
