Precision guided system and precision beating technique are a new direction of modern high-tech arms. Because of highly resolving power, small and light equipment, image guided system receives more and more recognition in the precision guided field. The research of this paper is divided into two parts.One is intersity-based matching algorithms, and the other is tracking algorithm and simulation of moving objects.Precision guided system based on image matching has higher precision and reliability. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theories of image matching, including concept, mathematics description, process flow, similitude measurement, matching algorithms and factors that affect matching performance. Secondly, the paper discusses matching pre-processing. The paper gives the opposite processing methods for the error factors such as intensity distortion, noise and geomentry distortion. Then this paper expounds the basic theory of wavelet transform, and several intersity-based matching algorithms are compared and analysed. At last, the paper achieved a quickly intersity-based matching algorithm based on wavelet transform, through experiments analyzes their respective merits and de merits. The experimental results show that this algorithm has good matching performance.Object tracking is a very important part of precision guided system. Aiming at moving target track question, according to built the planar and three-dimensional moving model, the paper introduces extended Kalman filtering algorithm to do the research of tracking simulation. Taking into account the instability and low accuracy of passive filters in bearings-only target tracking, the paper adopts an adaptive extended Kalman filter algorithm which suits nonlinear observation model and linear dynamic model. Simulation results show that this algorithm can improve the filter convergence and accuracy.
