With the expanding of applied range of minimal invasive surgery(MIS) technology, studies on the Capsule Endoscope have been more and more important. Many kinds of Capsule Endoscope have been studied in the past decades for medical use.The research of wireless capsule endoscope system which is based on general technology is very important to break the special technology barrier of wireless capsule endoscope. The innovation of this dissertation lies in bringing forward the technical thought of realizing wireless capsule endoscope system based on general technology firstly. According to this thought, this dissertation analyzes the barrier to realize capsule endoscope system based on general technology. And combing with the two major hot spots in the current international Capsule Endoscope technology research, we identified three key technologies: high efficient image compression algorithm applying on Capsule Endoscope; localization technology of Capsule Endoscope and Capsule Endoscope composing method based on normal technology. After discussing the overcoming method for the key technical obstacles in depth, we proposed a system for the design idea and technology program, Then have tested the key technologies and key components of the technical programs by the test system, and the experimental result shows that implement Capsule Endoscope System with normal technology is technically feasible; this conclusion lays foundation for creating technology line in implementing Capsule Endoscope System based on normal technology, and the study of this technology will tremendous boost the popularity of technology of Capsule Endoscope.Firstly, the interior environment and structure of intestinal tube were analyzed. Based on above analysis, the main technical parameters of the intestinal Capsule Endoscope were presented, and the system scheme was designed. The system consists of two modules, intestinal Capsule Endoscope, image capturing and processing module, and wireless receive module.The intestinal Capsule Endoscope can capture images from the inner surface of the gastro intestine and send these image signals to outside receiver wirelessly. The was Capsule Endoscope composed of a micro image sensor module, a micro wireless image transmitter, illuminating LEDs, The micro image sensor module included a CMOS image sensor and micro lens. The micro wireless image transmitter was integrated by RF chip and micro antenna.At last we developed a general Capsule Endoscope sample machine and do some experiments on both human body and animals to validate the key technologies. The results of experiments show that the method to implement Capsule Endoscope presented by this paper is theoretically and technologically feasible.
