Research On Wood Recognition System Basic On Cell Character

With the development of modem wood industry, wood as the basic form of wood industrial product, different species of wood has huge price difference. Just because the difference of price between rarities species wood and common wood very astonishingly at present, in ancient furniture,archaized wood product and musical instrument made filed appears most imitations and some rare wood are transported mix with common wood that increase the difficulty for forestry surveyor. So official can achieve to perform duties according to law by recognizing wood accurately. Now we should solve the problem how to recognize wood accurately by using a bit specimen in the precondition that do not destroy product. That becomes the research direction at present.This paper is a part of "Research on Numerical control equipment of wood recognition" which is supported by Tackle key Problem item of Heilongjiang Province (GC05AS04). Cell is important microcosmic characteristic of wood, the image of cell in wood section has more characteristic parameters information. So it brings forwards the theory of distinguishing wood base on the digital characteristic of cell, researches and develops the svstem of wood recognized.Cell image is affected by a great of disturbance noise and other ingredient in detail of getting course, because of the problem of beam. This paper makes pretreatment to cell image for solving that problem. And it acquires three character parameters that area,circumference,compactness of each wood cell by technique of image processing. It constructs 10 parameters by that three character parameters. It builds wood recognition algorithm base on discrimination of minimal difference of parameters according to 10 parameters. It estimates the feasibility of recognition algorithm by experiment. Meanwhile. the database technology support is also brought into the wood recognizing system to establish the database of cell parameters to (?)ealize integrate management. In the paper the system software is designed by Visual C++6.0 programming language and the modular designing method. It acquires three character parameters from five kind of wood slice up samples, and builds cell parameter database of wood sample. Through the tests on entity image of wood cell, the system comes to a certain recognizing requirements. The study in this paper will provide good theoretical and applied foundation for the wood recognition.
