The Research On The Method Of Wood Recognition Base On The Digital Characteristics Of Cell Microstructure

In timber trade, the exact recongnizing of wood species has become the primary issue in the woodworking industry. The traditional wood species recongnizing method which has been used for a long time seriously affected by various factors and its operating efficiency is lower. This will not be able to meet the requirements of large-scale and quick wood recongnizing. Therefore, improving the accuracy of identifying wood species and realizing automatization of the wood detecting and identifying is the critical problem which needs solving urgently in woodworking industry of our country.The main purpose of this dissertation is to discuss wood cell by studying shape-set.and segmentation, preprocessing methods of the wood cell entity examined image, the dissertation also analyzes the techniques of cell feature extraction and image segmentation and so on with low contrast and heavy noisy background.This paper centralizes on the slicing effect processing of cell entity examined image, cell shape-set and criterion cell simulation, in which slicing effect processing of cell entity examined image and cell shape-set is the key point. This subject, which adopt the advanced image processing technology, proposed the methods and thoughts that suitable for preprocessing and segmenting the entity examined image of the wood cell according to the characteristics of the entity examined cell image and realized the slicing effect processing. It also extracted and analyzed the characteristic parameters of cell outline and area. digitizing it and simulated the criterion cell. Taking into account the requirements of svstem, the dissertation designed the system software which on the digital characteristics of cell microstructure by Visual C++6.0 programming language and the modular designing method base on the wood species recognition.The reach of the method about wood species recognition would offer a new technical;reference means for wood classification and had the important meaning for accelerating the development of the wood species recognition technology, advancing this technology into practice and fully utilized the timber resources of our country.
