Research On Grammar Representation For Product Conceptual Design In CSCW

The conceptual design is an innovative process, which takes a vitalrole in the product design process. The integration of technology of CSCWand product conceptual design has provided a very good solution for thelong-distance cooperation designing. However, under the present CSCWenvironment, the most of collaborative design systems pay attention to theintegration with original CAD/CAX system, and the innovativecharacteristic of conceptual design stage are seldom considered.The friend User Interface of pen import sketch is suitable for therepresentation of design thought. But if pen input sketch adopted as theUser Interface system, the network sharing of sketch information is aproblem. This paper analyzes the whole process of sketch technology,takes the element as the basic unit of information sharing in CSCW.Through the research on element classification, mathematicsdescribing and constraint, this paper has designed a sketch informationinteractive model based on the element in CSCW. Moreover, it alsopresents the standardized definition of element information description, and gives the EBNF description of element and sketch information. Finally,the formal description of figure is turned into XML form, which is easy fornetwork transmission and understanding, as well as the XML expressionstandard of element defined with DTD.On the basis of information describes to element, the paper has givenmulti-components relationship describing method, which using AVL treemethod.
