Spatial query analysis is one of the core technologies in geograph informationsystems's research and development. At present the model of spatial query analysis isstill evolving. In this paper, we take deeply study about their development status.Cause SQL has become the industry standard, the SQL extension model graduallybecomes an important direction of spatial query analysis's development.This paper reviews the development course of Geograph Information System'sspatial data storage and management, starts from heterogeneous data integration,discusses how to establish a GML-based spatial database. Researched therepresentative space access method, on this basis to facilitate spatial query analysiswe expend the spatial relationship operators and spatial analysis operators, and detailsanalysis the three stages of spatial query operation, then brings forward spatial queryoptimization framework based on R+tree.As the core module of spatial query analysis system, query scheduling subsystemis designed in query decomposing method. Through reasonable query decompositionand the implementation of scheduling, the system can efficiently accomplish user'squery request, thereby achieve spatial query optimization. In this paper acomprehensive analysis of the related series of query optimization strategies,including predicate optimization strategy, query decomposition strategy, querysequence generation strategy and schedular execution strategy.As regards the client displaying result problem, as opposed to other WebGIS, inthis paper the Ajax technology combined with SVG used to express client display andalso provide spatial query interface, this implements effective load balancing, and theclient and server for asynchronous communications, takes the best query experienceto the user. Finally, the relevant experiment proved the effectiveness, practicality,feasibility of the theory and method.
