In the modern electronic warfare environment, radar netting is a kind of effective method to confront with"four counteractions". As a part of radar netting, optimize embattle mostly research on how to determine the position of each radar according to radar's category when resources (radar numbers, system) are given. Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm has become the hotspot of evolutionary computation, as it is easily realized and its excellent performance.This paper analyzed the theory of"four counteractions"and the advantages of radar netting, then got the principle of radar netting and optimize embattle, and created a mathematic model of optimize embattle. In order to make use of Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to implement the model effectively, this paper researched its theory, versions, advantages and weaknesses, parameter choice, convergence analysis, and primary improvements. This paper advanced two improved algorithms also: an improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm with disturbance term and a kind of fast Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm. Finally, this paper accomplished the project implement of optimize embattle based on particle swarm optimization algorithm, and discussed the problems and solving methods during the practical operation.The optimize embattle model and improved PSO algorithm advanced by this paper provide an effective means to solve the problem of radar netting, and had been applied in a researching project of weapon equipment.
