Based on the National Science Fundation of China: Study on the Tourism State and Safety Accident Prediction Based on Agent and Data Mining (60442003), Scientific and Technology Development Key Project of Beijing Education Committee: Study on Holiday Tourism Information Method Based on Data Mining and Agent (KZ200510011009) and using China National Golden Tourism Project as a research task, we performed a improved distributed sampling association rule mining algorithm, built up a holiday tourism agent-based data mining platform and applied the platform to the China Tourism Destination Marketing System (DMS) using data mining and distributed artificial intelligence technology, etc.The main work and innovative points in this thesis are as follows:(1) Put forward a improved distributed sampling association rule mining algorithm DS-ARM and its sub- algorithm MDDM and M-Mine. Gave the implementation process of the algorithm and tested the performance of the algorithm. Analyzed the travel behavior patterns of the holiday tourists in destinations and predicted the behavior and preference of tourists in destinations using DS-ARM algorithm. According to tourists'information, we predicted the destinations'popular tourist attractions and the peak periods of scenic tourism destinations.(2) Built up an agent-based data mining platform. Designed and implemented the system model, architecture, processes and functions of the platform and tested the performance of it.(3) Applied the agent-based data mining platform to the China Tourism Destination Marketing System. Through the analysis of the tourism consumption level, travel time, attractive factors of destinations and anxious factors of travel, mine female tourists'behavior and consumption differences with different education levels in some of the medium-sized cities so that we can make reasonable arrangements and recommendation for the itinerary of tourists and make reasonable leading for the tourists'travel activity in destinations.Based on the past scientific research, this thesis put forward a distributed sampling association rule mining algorithm DS-ARM.Built up an agent-based data mining platform and applied the platform to the China Tourism Destination Marketing System. The research work will increase the intelligent management level and make contribution to the healthy, orderly and safely development of holiday tourism industry.
