The management of workflow is one of the most rapid developed application computer technology. Working activity is performed and controlled by decomposing into well defined task, role, regulation and process to achieve the purpose of improving the level of productivity, organization and working efficiency. The process modeling of workflow, which plays an important role in the system of workflow management, can directly affect the working efficiency of the system, at the same time, it is also a hotspot to provide related emulational analyzing ability for process modeling. This paper tries to study the process modeling and related emulator of workflow.At the beginning of this paper, it opens up a specifically introduction for the related research of workflow process modeling and present condition of its development. Building up a new model of expanded workflow modeling, adding up time and stochastic parameter, are introduced according to the real needs of the surrounding of workflow system , and then to improve the workflow model. It is also mapping this model in the stochastic Petri net, then giving a semantic model of time expanded stochastic workflow net, which can be better adapt the needs of real situation, composed with other models.Next, it quotas PtolemyⅡ, the open resources modeling emulational tool, to establish a visible emulational platform of workflow process modeling. For the Petri net has too many modeling factors and the intuition is not very strong, moreover, it is difficult for the users to revamp the modeling, for these reasons, the concept of workflow groupware is put forward. Use the design idea of role-oriented to put the factor of time expanded stochastic workflow net into the role of Ptolemy II system, and utilize these elements role to set up the workflow component, and finally it realized the former definition of time expanded stochastic workflow net modeling.In the end, this paper uses two mete-yard performances to do many emulated experiments, which are the average of executive time and probability of error stoppages. Compared with the same literature and different methods, the result of it, is that the platform of emulational modeling has more credibility and more flexible , adaptable with the other mathematical ways.
