Designing And Realization Of DNC System Faced To NC Controller

With the progress of numerical control machining technology, more and more numerical control equipment is used, and then the use and management of the equipment becomes urgent problem. The technology of distributed numerical control (DNC) which can solve the problem comes into being with the development of computer technology, communication technology and manufacture technology. DNC system is made up of DNC main computer, NC equipment and manufacture equipment. On account of integrating NC equipment with computer by DNC, the mass control and management of manufacture equipment in machineshop becomes true, and the communication between equipment and equitment, between manufacture equipment and computer becomes easy.Researching on the development actuality and development trend of DNC technology inside and outside of the nation, this paper designs a kind of integration DNC system based on LAN. The system also takes into account of the requirement of the Lan-Tian NC equipment which is designed by Shenyang Institute of Computing Technology.Starting with the introduction of DNC system's run flat, i.e. LT-CNC, this paper describes the RCS lib and the NML communication mechanism which are used in LT-CNC and the DNC system's software structure is also described. Then it designs the DNC system's communication structure. Based on function, the DNC system is plotted out to file transfer and management, remote control, DNC online machining and operation log storage modules. After studying the key technology of every module, this paper design and realize the four function modules. At last, the performance testing and evaluate of the DNC system are given.The DNC system introduced in this paper can not only browse the status of the NC equipment, but also control the NC equipment. It contributes to the realization of workshop manufacture automatization for the future, and has favorable application foreground.
