The vector control as well as the direct torque control are the main two methods of the application of permanent magnetism synchronous motor. In order to test the accuracy of the control modes output characteristic in design process of alternating current velocity modulation system, the simulation model using the Matlab/Simulink toolbox will be able to provide the full theory basis to the actual system design.This thesis takes the electric automobile using the permanent magnetism synchronous motor, which utilizes the vector control and the direct torque control, as the research object, separately establishes two kind of simulation models of the vector control and direct torque. The simulation results have shown that the real-time control of the load sudden changing as well as the speed changing has been realized to make the permanent magnetism synchronous motor work steadily.This thesis does the main work as follows. Firstly discussed the simulation and the modeling relations, produces five essential factors of the modeling simulation. Then introduces the classification, structure and characteristic of the permanent magnetism synchronous machine, and produces the equation of motion of permanent magnetism synchronous machine under different coordinate system; Subsequently has discussed the vector control principle on permanent magnetism synchronous machine, reasonably divided the control system each function module, constructed the permanent magnetism synchronous machine vector closed-loop control simulation model, obtained the simulation result. Following has discussed direct torque control principle, reasonably divides the control system each function module, constructs the direct torque simulation model on permanent magnetism synchronous machine, introduced the open system, the non- velocity feedback closed-loop system as well as brings the PI regulator the feedback system three kind of simulations system, obtains the ideal simulation result.
