With rapidly increase requirement of detecting targets buried under the groundand maintenance of structure, which has made wide application of Ground PenetratingRadar (GPR). It has become so important to exalt the efficiency and accuracy of GPRto identify hidden targets and evaluate their location under the ground accordingly. This paper begins with the discipline and physical character of FrequencyModulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) GPR firstly, then, analyzes issues exists inmodern FMCW radar exploration. Some schemes are put forward to solve the issuesin the paper. By investigation into the original waveform of FMCW traditional andmodernistic signal, complete the combination of DDS and FMCW original waveform.FMCW Radar's wave is synthesized in virtue of computer simulation. Tow algorithmsare brought forward to settle the issues which existed in FMCW GPR.The primary work in this dissertation:1. As the new digital combination technology, DDS has its own advantage. Twoprimary techniques (Analog technique and Digital technique) which are usuallyused to generate radar's source are analyzed. As a new digital frequencycombination technology, DDS has its own advantage. This paper elaborates the principle of DDS as well as its distribution frequency spectral. At last, the sourceis generated in simulation and the wave was purifying.2. Traditional signal processing technique which applies the FFT algorithm toprocessing received wave has circumscriber. The mainly contradiction is betweendetecting accuracy and operation capacity. If a higher level precision was required, more operation will be necessary which would consume more time. Accordingly,a combination algorithm (FFT+Chirp Z) successfully implement high accuracyat cost of a little increase of operation time.3. On account of the limitation of FFT technique in multi-objects identifying, MUSIC algorithm is put forward to improve the limitation. The algorithm hasexcellent performance in identifying multi-object which have been proved bycomputer simulation...
