The Research Of Intelligent Electronic Dictionary

With the developing of micro-chip technology, wireless communications and other information technology, the popularization of Personal Digital Assistant brings people's daily life learning much convenience. Electronic Dictionary as a low-end PDA, to the people in the English reading and learning is of great help and facilitating role. At present, the popularity of electronic dictionaries has reached a very high level; its market value is self-evident.The thesis's work is based on much reading and searching of the interrelated literature of many intelligent mobile devices. Then we summarize features of electronic dictionary intelligent and propose the designing strategy requires of intelligent electronic dictionary .in order to follow these strategy requires, we introduced the cognitive aspects of the latest research achievements, such as the Semantic Ontology, forgetting curve memory effect and the layout of multiple memory technology, proposed a learning chain model and a inquiring queue which has a special new feature called "forgetting inquiring". And then we discuss correlative building rules and algorithms, strengthened the electronic dictionary in identifying and supporting the intelligent memory characteristics. At last we build a demo of this kind of electronic dictionary named AI Dictionary ,which can demonstrate the validity of these strategies。Based on the Research of Intelligent Electronic Dictionary as a learning assistant, we hope this could make an effective reference of the intelligentizing of PDA. We hope that in the future all of the intelligent mobile devices not only are "personal digital assistant", but also can be such "personal learning assistants" and "personal assistants" and "personal entertainment Assistant" which have the characteristics of entertainment Fun, intelligent, knowledgeable, and personalized aids.
