Research On The Education Management System Architecture Based On J2EE Platform

Along with the national education system large-scaled reform and computer network popularization, the education management level has enhanced and relied on the information technology more and more. The education management system can improve quality and efficientcy of teaching management greatly, which is an inevitable trend of the universities information construction.The author studies in the laboratory of Computer Engeneering Research and Development Center of Guangdong University of Technology. This laboratory has developed education management system software from 2001. During these years, it has already developed more than five education management system. The laboratory has very rich development experience of the education management system. The education managements of different universities have many similar places, How to aim at the similar demand, develop the universities' education management system as a product, and how to develop quickly and efficiently is still a question.This paper in view of the universities' education management system development and the present research unifies development experience of many education management systems, discusses how to develop the system as a product, researches and analyse how to construct architecture with good reusability and maintainablity. Firstly analyse the design and development of the education management system management systems developed by the laboratory, introduce the function, user type, network architecture, database design and the key development technology. Through the summary of this analysis, introduces a project of developing an education management system of adult education College of Guangxi Normal College, this project was developed based on the education management system which the laboratory had developed before. By analysing the develop process, proposes the questions of developing a new software based on an existed software, give a solution, building system structure using the J2EE to make the system with better reusability.Answer the question of how to build a good software architure, analyse design, method, and the process. First analyse the system demand carefully and totally, analyse system demand' s general character. According to the non- function demand, proposed construetionrank strategy, and proposes the first floor architecture. Secondly, proposes the architecture completely; Finally makes the technical mapping of this architecture, introduces each level design model, the dependence between layer and layer and how to solve the concrete question.This paper also discusses how to construct the system architecture based on J2EE with good reusability and maintainability. According to the eduction management system, choose what kind of layers, and how to make each layer work efficiently. Using frameworks to make the architecture more reusable.Finally there is a summary to the paper itself, elaborate the present work, and pointe out the further research direction.
