Networked Manufacturing is one of the most important trends in the development of modern manufacturing systems. Under the environment of Networked Manufacturing, the production systems have many new features, such as multi-resources, multi-objects, and multi-tasks, which need a new and more effective ways to solve it. Thus, the manufacturing task scheduling problems between main enterprise and member enterprises, in the Networked Manufacture Alliance, are studied in this thesis, basing on the paradigms of the Mobile Agent. After analyzing the features and requires of the production scheduling problem of the networked manufacturing system, a multi-Agent based networked manufacturing scheduling system is established, and the production scheduling strategy for networked alliance based on mobile agent as well as the manufacturing task scheduling algorithm is put forward. Besides, the formation mechanism, sending mechanism, routing strategy and other key technologies for mobile Agent are studied deeply. Main contents are as follow:The requirements and challenges of the Manufacturing Scheduling System as well as actuality of the studies and application of the multi-agent in Networked Manufacturing and existing problems are analyzed in the environment of Networked Manufacturing in the thesis. To gain the redesign and reuse ability, a principal and subordinate-distribution structure of the production scheduling system is proposed, which is made up of main enterprise agent, member enterprise agent and mobile agent. Then the function model of the system, operational mechanism and others are analyzed and designed detailedly.On the basis of the analysis of the definition about negotiation, the contents of negotiation mechanism and research status of the negotiation scheduling methods based on multi-agent, a mobile agent based scheduling negotiation mechanism, is brought forward, in order to meet the requirements of the networked manufacturing scheduling. As one of the most important aspect of the studies, the formation mechanism, sending mechanism and routing strategy for the mobile agent are studied. In addition, a multi-index optimization bid evaluation algorithm based on delivery date, costs and equipment load-rates and a manufacturing task scheduling decision-making algorithm based on Analytic Hierarchy Process are put forward.Finally, according to the background of the typical discrete manufacturing networked manufacture, a multi-agent software prototype system for the proposed networked manufacturing scheduling methods is built up. The system is developed based on Distribution Object Technology and Java software environment and the problems about agents' exploitation and realization are analyzed. Besides, to test the proposed scheduling methods and strategies and the key technologies about the system realization, some operation instances and simulation experiments are gave, including a take task scheduling problem example of the networked alliance system composed of four different localities enterprises.
