Research On A Middleware To Migrate Data Based On XML

With the rapid development of information technology, enterprise information management system continuously updates. Replacement of the old system of historical data need to be migrate to the new system, therefore, an urgent need for a universal, Cross-platform data migration technology.The main difficulty of data migration lies in the data heterogeneous. In order to migrate data from old system to new system, the data should be described on a unified format,thus achieving data conversion, processing and other functions. Therefore, this thesis propose XML to complete data migration from old system to new system of the enterprise. XML can describe itself, and commute data. In addition, it can describe data with the tree and figure. The data communication is the most important advantage of it. It has already become one kind of standard of the data announces on Internet and data exchanged.In order to make the migration method which propose in this thesis have better general Availability and better serviceability and better platform independence make data migration method brought forward by the main body of a book have much better General Availability and stronger,after analyse the theory and effect of middleware ,this thesis propose XML-based middleware.Be aimed at the insufficient of the data migration in the marketplace, in this thesis,the various condition of the data migration problem has been discussed And many data migration tactics have been analysed. And then propose a data migration model which contain XML-based middleware to manage and exchange the data between isomerism data base management system, and discusse the merity and difficulty of the model.Finally, this thesis propose the model of XML-based middleware,and explain the detailed function of it,at the same time ,explain its internal functions and data conversion processes.
