With popularity of Internet and demand for the multimedia service increased day by day, streaming media technology on the Internet absorbs more and more concerns. The thesis topic comes from the task of "Research of multi-channel video signal wireless transmission technology" which supported by Harbin Engineering University basic research fund. The wireless QoS multi-channel video stream transmission technology is one of the key technologies.Multi-channel real-time transmission multimedia data stream is one of main characteristics of streaming media technology, but general Internet protocol is unable to realize.RTP(real-time transfer protocol) is a protocol precisely used in transmitting the real-time multimedia data which made by IETF(Internet Expert Task Force). In addition, RTP protocol can also be used for solving the synchronous problems of video data. The research on RTP protocol becomes a key for researching the streaming media technology. The real-time transmission of MPEG-4 video is very essential in the network video monitor system, it is crucial for the robustness and stability of the system. This thesis designs a idiographic implement scheme of MPEG-4 real-time video streaming for multi-channel based on RTP/RTCP over WLAN, and it also proposes a effective multi-channel video synchronistic model based on timestamp synchronization. Aiming at wireless QoS mechanism, this system proposes a ECN algorithm based on RTCP feedback rate control algorithm-TFRC, improves the TFRC algorithm, adjusting the sending rate dynamically according to ECN-marked packet probability to realize congestion control. Experiments show that the transmission method can obtain good video transmission quality.
