Research Of EPC Standards Based On Managing System Of Internet Of Things

Logistics information has its own features, such as large quantity and miscellaneous of its contents. Ideas of EPC (Electronic Product Code) and Internet of things are put forward, which establishes sole identifiable symbol for every object in the scope of the world and some relevant and open standards are being produced at the same time. The applications of EPC promotes the development of auto-identifiable technology, which could not only collect and follow logistics information, but also could offer support to users through optimization of the whole logistics supplying chains so that the service could be improved largely.Based on the internet, EPC system forms a global inter-system of material objects through technology of RFID (radio frequency identification) and wireless communication. According to the current situation of this industry and my research, this thesis researches, discusses and completes the works below:First, the thesis presents the aims and importance of the research of EPC technology in the light of ideas of Internet of Things and relevant developments at home and abroad.Second, according to the basic structure of EPC system, it analyses the formation and the principles of EPC and its network.Third, it researches the communication protocols of C1G2 between readers and tags and designs a ALOHA algorithm for readers and anti-collision for label communication. The frame size could be adjusted by way of estimating the current numbers of tags so that the efficiency of the system could be promoted. Then it establishes a pattern and computer simulation and compares, analyses and verifies the results of simulation and its reliability and correctness.Fourth, it designs a managing system for EPC information and achieves the aim of operation for writing, reading, and saving of EPC information.Last, the thesis sums up its research, points out some defects to be solved and presents prospects and plans for further researching.
