Ultra-WideBand communication transfers data using non-sinusoidal pulses with very short duration. It has many advantages, such as low probabilities of intercept and detection, high transmission rate, low power consumption, robustness to multi-path and low cost, so it becames the hot spot in wireless communication research and developing field. As chaotic system is very sensitive to the initial conditions, it can gengerate a large number of non-periodic, noise-like, yet deterministic and reproducible signals, so it has more and more application in sprectum and secure communications. In this paper, we adopted the chaotic sequence as the time hopping sequence and spectrum sequence for PPM ans PAM modulation in UWB communication, we compared the reception principles and bit error rate of the two modulation. This article also analysises the signal power sprectrum and anti-interference ability, and verifies the correctness of the theory by simulation. Then we studied the multipath channel model for UWB which IEEE 802.15.3a working team recommend. And then, we researched, simulated and compared the performance of Rake receiver with different reception schemes. At last we described the TR-UWB system with much simple receiver structure and analysised the receiver function. Base on TR-UWB system, we introduced an improved TR-UWB model which combines MCSK, the theory and simulation result show that the new model can improve the error bit rate and resisting to multipath raising ability.
