With the development of optical data storage technology, theimprovement of the storage density has been paid much attention to.Generally, it is difficult to solve the problem with the resolving limitationcaused by the diffraction, which makes a deep influence on the improvementof the storage density in the field of the high density storage system. We canmake advantage of the far field superresolution technic to break up thislimitation, so that we can improve the storage density of the conventionalstorage system nowadays. Accordingly, we design. two kinds ofsuperresolving annular filters to solve the problem in this paper—the binaryannular filter and the multiple annular filter. In consideration of its need of the solution for multiobjectiveoptimization, the superresolving annular binary filters are designed on theground of multiobjective optimized genetic algorithms (MOGA). Therefore,we propose a new kind of the genetic algorithms as IVEGA, based on themethod in the vector evolutionary genetic algorithm (VEGA) and the Paretooptimal conception. Then we apply it to designing the superresolvingannular binary filters. On the other hand, we design another kind of genetic algorithm to figure out the optimal value of the multiple annular filter.Because of its multiple peak value of its function, the neural network is usedin the genetic algorithm to improve the local searching performance of thealgorithm.According to the result of the computer simulation, the binary annularfilters enable the FWHM decreases 28% on transverse and the multipleannular filter get 30% decrease, which both help to realize the aim ofimproving the density of information storage. Meanwhile, both of them canalso make the depth of focus longer, therefore can avoid the mistake in theprocess of recording/reading the information because of the small undulationof the optical disk. The physical experiment shows that the result of the experiment isconsistent with the theoretic analysis. However, there is much diffraction inthe image of the multiple annular filters. And that may have influence on thequality of the optical writing.
