With the rapid development of computer technology and communication technology, sensor technology development has entered into the stage of the network too. The development of sensor network technology has great significance to enhance the sensor's capability of data processing and data transmission .But, in china, many of the sensors being used in coal mines are researched in 1980s of 20th century, which are analog signal output. This makes the sensor data processing and analysis be greatly hampered. To the status of sensor technology which being used in Chinese coal mines, this paper presents a solution scheme based on the mine sensor network of SOM module.SOM module was designed with 32-bit ARM microprocessor and transplanted embedded solutions ofμC/OS- II RTOS. This paper introduces the realization of SOM module from the system hardware and software in detail. The hardware core of this system is high-performance 32-bit ARM processor LPC2210, extending some general interfaces such as Ethernet interface, RS232 interface etc. The development of software system is completed in ADS1.2 development environment, which based on the software platform of embedded operating systemμC/OS- II.Firstly, this paper detailed describes the design of SOM module's hardware parts, and completed the transplant ofμC/OS- II RTOS based on hardware system. Secondly, this paper detailed describes the realization of ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP agreement and socket mechanism in TCP/IP agreement socket. It completes the transplant of TCP/IP agreement socket and passed the test.Finally, this paper presents the use of this embedded SOM module researched independent in mining network monitoring system. We propose an adaptive algorithm for weighting which make data amalgamation to the same type mining sensor. Through simulation research, we founds that this method can take account of environmental factors full, and improve the accuracy of measurement system through reduce the influence of measuring accuracy caused by great deviation data. Through the realization of network programming and database programming, we complete the Network Monitoring Experiment of mining Sensor. The experimental results show that the SOM module and the sensor based on SOM designed in this paper achieved the design requirements.
