A Study On Using Specialized Learning Webs To Construct A New Drug-prevention Education Model

It's well-known that the spread of illicit drugs does serious harm toindividuals,families and our country. The Anti-drug Project mainlydepends on science and prevention, so having drug-prevention educationis an important measure in elementary and secondary schools. There aremany disadvantages in traditional drug-prevention education models,therefore it is necessary to have some new innovations and pioneer somenew ways on it.The subject involved in the study is the specialized learning webs forDrug-prevention Education and this study is undertaken to have adiscussion on how to build a specialized learning web. Based on the web,we create a new teaching model for Drug-prevention Education,which wehope can promote the traditional models and fulfills the integration ofDrug-prevention Education, Information Technology and History course.According to the characteristics of students'cognition, the model isdivided into three phases. Guided by the teachers at the same time,students explore the research themselves by collecting, analysing,uploading, propagandizing and applying their knowledge of drugsprevention. The students are expected to get a profound understanding onhow senrious the harm of drugs is to individuals, families and societyduring the process. The new model also records the process of students'shaping and learning and it can also make individuals, families andcommunities united, fighting againt drugs together. We hope it can makepeople have a gradually changed attitude to it: from the step of"staying-away from drugs", to "refusing drugs" to the last destination of"taking-part in the anti-drug projects", so that it reaches the unity of cognition, affection, awareness and behaviour.The model will create a new way of ethical education and constructa Great Wall for drug-prevention education.
