The combination of MIMO and OFDM can not only enhance the channel capacity dramatically, but also improve the performance of combating against noise and multi-path interference through time, space or frequency diversity. Recently, MIMO-OFDM has emerged as one of the most significant technical breakthroughs in wireless communications.In this essay, an integrated simulation platform of MIMO-OFDM is established. To establish it, the author figured out the differences among every key technology step by step through simulations, and then brings forward key techniques in system realization, which includes frame synchronization, carrier frequency offset acquisition, channel estimation and space-time encoding and decoding.At the end of this essay, the whole MIMO-OFDM system is constructed. The simulation results show that the system has a good performance in quasi-static fading and Doppler shift channel.
