Design And Implementation Of Voice Services Platform Based On VoiceXML

With the quickly development of Internet, Voice services were used widely in our life. But there are some problems with voice services development. Such as slow develop speed, difficult to change, and so on. 2000, W3C released the VoiceXML 1.0 edition. VoiceXML is a markup language based on the web, it describe the process of voice dialogue between people and computer. Meanwhile, this markup language can be used to describe voice services. There is a new idea to run the voice services by explain and execute the relevant VoiceXML files. It not only can free programmers from the heavy programming, but also quick the new voice services develop.This thesis implemented a prototype system based on analyze the key technology of Text To Speech (TTS) and Automated Speech Recognition (ASR). In addition, the thesis deeply introduced the structure of the system and the design ideology. The prototype system can be divided into three parts: hardware platform, VoiceXML interpreter and document server. This system have realized the TTS service, but for lack of resource ASR service were replaced by DTMF. At the end of the paper, some experience in the development and the upgrading planning of the system is to describe.
