Along with the constant development of communication technology, communication systems and supporting equipments are increasing. Communication room has become an important part of the power room. The room power and environmental equipment must always provide normal operating environment for communication systems, once the room environmental equipment break down, it will affect the operation of communications networks, and the consequences would be disastrous. To ensure safe and reliable communication systems, it is vital that the power room inside force and environmental equipment is automatically monitored and organically managed. Centralized supervisory system on power and environment in the communication room can monitor and manage the power supply, air-conditioning, fire, doors, image to achieve real-time monitoring, recording and alarm monitoring. The system was used to make all kinds of data storage, backup and automatic analysis and provide the effective functioning of the decision support for adequate communication equipment.After research the main results are as follows: 1.Pure hardware of video compression and acquisition technology is applied and upgraded. Initially wavelet (Wavelet) compression technology was used, and MPEG2 is applied; now we use H.264 technology, with high coding efficiency, under the same image quality it saves more 50% of the rate than other compression methods. 2, data acquisition applies a modular, decentralized, hardware design and the back-end data processing needs a real-time operating system. Distributed network needs a network structure. Types were collected by the front-end data to solve the data processing problem; OS9000-end real-time operating system is used to solve not enough capabilities of the windows system processing, mistakes easily happening and other problems; Group net focused the data headquarter has changed to taken to the regional distribution center for processing, which improves data handling capabilities. 3.Referring to the prominent room security issues and the reliability of the engine room we study security technology and means, manage room with access control system, use laser technology to detect smoke instead of traditional smoke detection. Strong power intrusion detection is applied to ensure the safety line. 4, after the study of improving the reliability of the system, included: raising component reliability; improving the reliability of modules; improving system reliability; improving monitoring software reliability.Introduction is the first part of the thesis. It is mainly about the research background and findings, introducing four management functions of monitoring system and seven research results. Second, the study of driving forced environmental data collection technology, introducing dynamic acquisition of environmental data collection content and the methods and acquisition structure, data transmission, data processing by hardware and software. The third part is study and realization of a digital video surveillance technology, including digital video compression, digital storage technology, and video surveillance camera layout and monitoring software design. The fourth is room safety study and surveillance design and implementation. There are four security technologies. The fifth is monitoring system reliability, included the reliability of the monitoring system and how to improve it, focusing on the four areas to improve the reliability of the system. Part sixth is the conclusion. It is the conclusion of the thesis and further study.
