Design And Implementation Of J2EE Based Automation Testing Tool

Stability and reliability of enterprise software is more and more important for the security and efficiency in many corporations. However, the implementation of the enterprise software is too complex to imagine. Often, the developers can not anticipate and take full control of the different kinds of the defects which make the software product not robust. In the meanwhile, the defects will bring the customers more troubles even reduce the influence among them.Testing is an essential way to ensure the software under ordered and stable running. There are different kinds of testing methods which will try their best to greatly reduce the amount of the defects internally. The software testing is processing for many years. As the complexity of software testing during a long period of time, it is necessary to design and implement an automation testing tool to help the testers increase the testing efficiency. Moreover, the tool should be design to help the testers analyze the results more easily and carefully.In this dissertation, some deep research which focuses on several key technologies base on the J2EE platform has been done about the automation testing tool, and a real automation testing tool according to the design has been implemented. This system is coded by eclipse with open source plugin - Lomboz. During the period of the design and implementation, some principle is collected to design the database tables. The class designs are base on the design pattern. Furthermore, some improvement of the server is considered and implemented compared with the traditional ways. In the end, the new technology - AJAX is adopted for asynchronous communication. This tool also contains the function of analyzing the feedback results through the business logic. With the usage of the automation testing tool, not only the efficiency and preciseness is improved, but also release the testers from the heavy works. So it is make sense to build automation testing tool.From this dissertation, you can also find a discussion on the application of object-oriented design method, unified modeling language and O/R Mapping. In Chapter 4, several design patterns have been specified. What's more, the thought of SOA will be simply illustrated base on this automation testing tool for the future assets integration.
