The Distributed Professional Information Collection System Base On Agent

This paper does an in-depth research and analysis on the theory, and framework of a web search engine and the theory of Agent technology. The paper also analyses the advantage of information collection system base on Agent.According to the existing shortage of general search engines, on the basis of the study of Internet information collection and processing and Agent technology, this paper introduces the design and realization of profession information system base on Multi-Agent. It achieves the parallel and distributed process of gathering information on Multi-Agent and better solves the problem of a large-scale collection of Internet information.The system is composed by a group of mutual cooperation Agents which are located in different nodes, including information collection Agent, information analysis and evaluation Agent, center control Agent, message communication Agent.Compared to ordinary distributed information collection system, the system adds information analysis and evaluation Agent. On the analysis of the collected data and professional thesaurus, the Agent gives the professional evaluation of the website searched, to show the professional value of the site. Next time, basing on the evaluation, the system can choose the website to search; thereby the efficiency of the system is improved.
