The Study Of The Education Resource Full-Text Retrieval System Based On Google Desktop

This article probes into the fundamentals, method and characteristics of full-text retrieval by introducing the generation, development and application of full-text retrieval technology. It also briefs of analyses the development and application of full-text retrieval technology by elaborating on the Lucene system (full-text retrieval engine) structrue, index structrue and data process.In 2004, Google launched its own desktop search software--Google Desktop based on the strong technical advantages of Google. Besides serving as tool software, it can also be used as the basis for second development for the search software satisfying your own needs. Compared with previous search engines and index engine development packages, Google desktop has many advantages. This article intends to develop a whole new full-text retrieval system based on Google Desktop and embed the index plugin development by yourself into the system so as to further enhance the search capability of full-text retrieval system.Focusing on the application of full-text retrieval in the educational resource pool, this article is to develop a full-text retrieval system of educational resource pool based on Web by the integration of full-text retrieval technology, Google search technology and the enhanced index creation strategy. The said full-text retrieval system can not only retrieve the resource of the existing file type in the educational resource pool quickly, but also be able to retrieve the file type newly added to the system along with the expansion of educational resource pool so as to expand the system function. According to the test result, the said system meets the design intention basically.
